Yunnan South Asia Elevator Co., Ltd. was established in 2013. In June 2019, the company invested in and built an elevator manufacturing plant at the Zhejiang Merchants Science & Technology Industrial Park, Yanglin Economic Development Zone, Dianzhong New Area, Kunming City, Yunnan Province.
The factory is located just 10 kilometers from Kunming Changshui International Airport, giving it a clear locational advantage. With the implementation of the country’s Belt and Road Initiative and the opening of the China-Laos Railway, Yunnan Province has strengthened its ties with South Asia and Southeast Asian nations, further solidifying Kunming’s pivotal role as a strategic gateway.
South Asia Elevator is a modern factory integrating R&D, design, manufacturing, sales, installation, maintenance, servicing, and retrofitting of existing buildings. We stay in sync with the latest trends in smart manufacturing, digital empowerment, and industrial IoT.
The factory occupies a site of 42,000 square meters, with existing workshop space totaling 16,000 square meters. Its elevator test tower stands 85 meters tall and is designed with seven elevator shafts. Additionally, the factory features a 4,000-square-meter dormitory building. Currently, the facility is equipped with advanced, intelligent machinery, including laser cutting machines, turret punch presses, CNC bending machines, shearing machines, robotic welding systems, and other state-of-the-art production equipment.
